Neonatal care: tradition and technology

The neonatal department of the Clinique des Grangettes is one of the largest in Switzerland, focusing on baby care from the earliest moments of life.

Paediatricians examine the child within 24 hours after birth; a small yet important milestone in the future health of the newborn.

The volume of activity is constant over the years, but practices in neonatal care continue to improve.

"The health and well-being of the baby as those of the mother are central to our concerns," says Dr. Peter Klauser, head of Medical Services.
